Motorcycle/Muscle Car/Import Extravaganza
Hartsville,SC
Sponsored by : 1st Class Promotions
1st Class Promotions today announced that it has struck a deal to bring one of the most heavily attended motorsports shows to a location that is noted for great racing, Darlington Dragway. This event is slated to take place on Friday, September 21 and Saturday, September 22, 2007. Since the days when the track was noted for its sanctioned National events, it has changed ownership and plan to reestablish itself as one of the most favorite tracks for racers to explore their speed potentials.
1st Class Promotions will feature several classes of racing from motorcycles to 4 second Pro Modified Doorslammers. In the Outlaw Pro Street class several bikes will be relying on great track conditions to possibly set a world record for a no wheelie bar, nitrous injected street bike. Outlaw Pro Street’s Rodney Williford will be present making exhibition passes on his world record setting Suzuki Hayabusa. He no longer runs the class due to rule changes that disallowed him to participate with his current set up. We will also be featuring one of the most growing street bike classes on the AMA Prostar tour today, Super Street. They have notable names like Rickey Gadson, Kawasaki/Monster Energy drink marketing icon, Mike Slowe, and many other good racers. These street bikes are capable of low 8 second, quarter mile runs. Pro E.T., Street E.T. and Grudge bikes will round up what to come is our motorcycle segment.
On the other hand, we will be featuring a Car Show orchestrated by Koss Motorsports of Lancaster, SC. We will allow you to be entertained by the always exciting Pro Modified Doorslammer action. These guys/gals are capable of 1/8 mile, towering burnouts and 4 second runs that leave spectators in awe. We will back that up with an All Run E.T. format bracket race for the Muscle Car segment of the show. This class will be followed by an Import Car category that will have the All Run format as well. Last but not least will be the ATV All Run class that caters to those who have that desire to grow the sport of ATV drag racing.
Between all the classes aforementioned there will be over $25,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs on September 21 and 22.
Our events are very much family friendly. So you will feel at home an array of different vendors will be on hand to cater to your needs. We will have kiddy activities to pacify those who choose to bring out the little ones. Saturday, September 22 will also play host to Motorcycle Clubs Appreciation Day. These organizations and groups do a whole lot in the community, as well as support the sport of drag racing, so they will be admitted at a discount rate with colors. The Presidents of those groups will be admitted absolutely free on that Saturday only.
There will be only 2500 Saturday pre-sell tickets available for those looking to discount their expedition to this outing. They can be purchase by way of web at www.1stclasspromo.com, Darlington Dragway, and many other ticket hubs in designated areas. The suggestion will be to purchase while available, because the last venue promoted by 1st Class Promotions, King of The Street 4, sold all of its pre-sell tickets in just 1 month.
This organization has a huge spectator base that averages 5,500 per event that attract racers and spectators all over the East Coast. Overnight RV parking will be available for the long distance race fans.
Gates are scheduled to open on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 4:00 pm and Saturday, September 22 at 11:00 am. In the event it rains, the show will be continued the following weekend September 28 and 29.
