Event Overview June 11th Springfield, Missouri. Make a Wish Ride registration will be 8am to 10am. Departure and Staging will be at 10:30 am from Navajo Taco on West Bypass and Chestnut Expressway. Coffee and donuts will be served that morning. Registration is $20 for driver and $10 for rider. Bike blessings by CMA. The ride will be to Roaring River State Park south of Cassville and will end at the Tree Top Restaurant. Meal tickets and raffle tickets can be purchased at the beginning of the ride. Ride for Freedom Poker Run

On Saturday, July 23, 2011, the Mt. Vernon Veterans Home will host its Eighth Annual Ride for Freedom to benefit our Veterans assisted by the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. This is a motorcycle poker run that will travel approximately 120 miles through the Ozarks. Top three hands win along with low hand, many prizes will be given away. The poker run is open to all motorcycle riders 18 years and older. Cars are also welcome. Bikes go out at 10:00 am and return around 1:30 pm. Pre-registered fee of $20, day of event $25. For entry fee riders will get one poker hand, one meal, and one T-shirt. Location of poker run is Missouri Veterans Home, 1600 S. Hickory Street, Mt. Vernon, MO. Will have large tent for shade and entertainment. For details, call David or Deann or e-mail.
