This Memorial Day tribute will honor the memory of veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice, giving their lives to protect our nation. Participants can register and line up for the ride starting at 11 am in Wayne County Community College’s front parking lot, located off of Haggerty and (-94 (take exit 192 and then proceed north on Haggerty). The group will make their way to the Belleville Veteran’s Memorial in Horizon Park, located off Belleville Lake on High Street, East of Main Street, across from Grace Baptist Church. The estimated arrival time is between 2 and 2:30 pm. There will be a memorial service once all are assembled. There is a $10 fee and all riders are welcome. The Ride honors Andy Ross, a Trenton firefighter/ paramedic that was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident in July, 2000. The ride features traveling through several of the scenic Huron-Clinton Metroparks. All participants receive a ride shirt and pin. There will be a delicious luncheon and live entertainment when riders return to Elizabeth Park. Prior to the ride join staff and riders for a free continental breakfast at Buster's Place, W. Jefferson & Vreeland Rd. in Trenton. Later that evening, Buster's Place will host our after-party where riders can reconnect and enjoy the entertainment, raffles & give-aways.
