5th Annual Run For Cover

The 5th annual Run for Cover will benefit S.A.F.E. House, emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence. The run will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2008. Registration will begin @ 9:30am at the University Pit Arena located at 1111 University Blvd. S.E. The ride will begin @ 11am from the Pit parking lot and will end at 12pm at Elliott's Restaurant located at 10200 Corrales Rd. N.W. The cost will be $15 per person. This will include a free t-shirt and $5 in tickets. Any donation of twin size linen will receive 10 extra raffle tickets. There will be a fajita lunch offered for $7. There will also be bike games, raffle prizes, a silent auction, and live music by the Ryan McGarvey Band and the Chris Ravin Band. For the kids there will be a fun jumper, snow cones, ice cream, and a color the bike contest.
