The Nora Skye Ride is going to be on May 12, 2012. It's starting in Gardner, MA and ending at "The Bone" in Framingham. The proceeds are going for a Clinical Trial for Infante and Classic Late Infantile Batten Disease and hoping to add the other variants. $20.00 for registration/ t-shirt and $ 5 extra person. Portion of the proceeds being donated to the trial. Batten Disease is a terminal disease that causes blindness, epilepsy, mental and physical handicappedness, 1 on 1 care and eventually it is terminal. Everyone's child is on the clock.

4th Annual Motor Officer Bike Blessing & Rodeo

The Motor Officer Bike Blessing and Rodeo (M.O.B.B.A.R.) will be honoring law enforcement officers and their families during its fourth annual event on Sunday May 20, 2012 at Imperial Cars.com, located at 18 Uxbridge Road in Mendon, Massachusetts on Sunday May 20, 2012 rain or shine. Event grounds will be open 10AM -3PM, with the opening police procession arriving at 11AM. Please enter the event using the Chevrolet dealership entrance. All branches of the law enforcement community, including on and off duty police, fire, military and veterans are welcome to participate. This is a family friendly, alcohol is strictly prohibited. The event will include a bike blessing for all uniformed and civilian Law Enforcement Officers in attendance to be performed by members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, bike games & prizes, family oriented activities, unique photo opportunities, food, music, a raffle and more. Proceeds will benefit C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc) local New England chapter, a nationally based organization that provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. The public is welcomed and encouraged to come in support of these law enforcement officers in recognition of their service and dedication to public safety.
