Dear Motorcycle & Car Show Exhibitors, It is that time of year again to let the public know about "The Park City Chill" Brought to you by Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts Stores and Service Centers. I have a bunch of new plans in the works to make "The Park City Chill" bigger and better than what it was last February. The location will remain the same at the Kansas Pavilions located at 1229 East 85th Street North, Park City, KS. And that the date for "The Park City Chill" is Feb 24th, 25th & 26th, 2012.Yes, “The Park City Chill” has now grown to 3 fun filled packed days! For the Motorcycle Show, please note that I have adjusted the classes from last year and that there are now 39 classes. The Motorcycle Show will take place in Pavilion I. Also note that all Motorcycle Venders will be in Pavilion I. Entertainment will be a little different as I have the Hooters Corporation coming back doing a Fashion / Swimsuit competition. Friday will have Lucky People kicking off the weekend with their 2 hour concert starting at 7pm! Saturday will have Almost KISS providing over 2 hours of live KISS music starting right after the Hooters Fashion / Swimsuit competition! Sunday will have Shyner playing for 2 hours (starting at 1pm) to help bring closure to a great weekend! As well as many other entertainment acts (TBA) at a later date. As like last year, “The Park City Chill” will consist of two shows. The Motorcycle Show will be in Pavilion I. The Car Show will be in the Arena Building and Pavilion II. Please see description of show areas below. Pavilion I: This building will host the Motorcycle Show and its booth venders just like last year. No Cars will be allowed in Pavilion I as this is dedicated for Motorcycles Only!!! Please let everyone know that there is plenty of room and that if coordinated before hand? I can mark off enough room for your Motorcycle Club so that members can park together. Arena Building: This building east of Pavilion I is where the Car Show will begin. I have made arrangements to have the entertainment stage moved back into Pavilion I to make room for more Car Show entries. Please note that space is limited, so if you are thinking of entering your vehicle? I would do so before space is unavailable. Covered Area between the Arena Building and Pavilion II: This area will be something new. This area will be boarded, tarpped and carpeted with heat provided. This will help provide more car show space. Pavilion II: This building will be for the Car Show. Please note that there is over 52 Car Show classes for this show and that there will be Funny Cars, Dragsters, Customs, Muscle Cars, Stock Cars, Street Machines, Low Riders & Imports. With everything that is now available to do at "The Park City Chill" for next year. I hope that you will share in my enthusiasm and that this event will have something for everyone. As always I try to keep my prices down and that the charge for Spectators for this event is listed below. Friday, February 24th is cheap date night - $7 at the door. Saturday, February 25th is - $12 at the door. Please note that coupons are available at all Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts Stores and Service Centers. These coupons are good only for Saturday only. Kansas Rides to the Kansas State Fair! The Kansas State Fair is excited to announce it's 11th annual Motorcycle Rally and Parade. Motorcyclists from across the state can bring their motorcycles to the Fair on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Paved parking for motorcycles will be located on Plum Street between 20th and 23rd Streets. Enjoy the Fair all day and at 4:45 p.m. meet back at your bike for a parade at 5 p.m. through the Fairgrounds. This event is free, but a gate admission ticket is required to get into the Fair. Tickets are $6 in advance or $10 at the gate. Each participant will receive a commemorative ribbon. After the parade, you are welcome to come back into the Fair and enjoy the evening activities. Be watching for the 2012 U.S. Cellular Grandstand entertainment for this evening.
