Each year, a different family in need will become the beneficiary of this fundraiser, along with some of the proceeds going to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation's local chapter in Indianapolis. This year's beneficiary will be 17 yr old Yvette Moss. Yvette's family is in need of a wheelchair lift for their van, among other things, and we are on a mission to raise the money for that. "Ashlee's Ride" will have live entertainment, prizes, raffles, 50-50's, and will also feature a Poker Run. The Poker Run is open to Motorcycles and Cars. The details are still being worked out so make sure you check back often for any developments. Anyone wanting to donate prizes or items for raffle please contact us.

The 16th Annual Mark Allen Memorial Ride brings hundreds of motorcyclists together each year to help the community, with all the proceeds presented to the March of Dimes of Central Indiana. Since September 2005 the "Dallas & Reid's Ride" has raised more than $200,000 for Juvenile Diabetes research! Our committee is working directly with The Lacocca Foundation, www.JoinLeeNow.org, providing funds to new and innovative research which could possibly result in the hopeful cure of Juvenile (Type 1) diabetes. We are the only fundraising event in the state of Indiana recognized by the Lacocca Foundation, and one of just a handful in the entire country! The Dallas and Reid’s Ride and its committee also sets themselves above and beyond other charity events and rides by donating every dollar collected to charity, the Lacocca Foundation. The Lacocca Foundation, founded by Lee Lacocca in 1984 after his wife died from diabetes, has spent the last 24 years supporting diabetes research. One of those researches, The Nathan/Faustman Research, has cured Juvenile Diabetes in laboratory animals and will begin FDA approved human clinical trials this year.
