Bikers For The Cure

The Bikers For The Cure (BFTC) is a not-for-profit organization of dedicated motorcycle riders focused on raising funds to assist in the fight against the horrible disease of breast cancer as a life threatening disease. All proceeds collected are donated to the Connecticut Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. This event will be our 6th year. The Bikers For The Cure organizes an annual motorcycle ride and benefit gathering in Connecticut. The year's annual gathering will be held on August 10th, 2008. The NEW event location is going to be Mountain Ridge in Wallingford. The event will begin with registration from 9:00am - 10:30am. At 11:00am sharp the State Police escorted motorcycle ride will depart and traverse the scenic Connecticut countryside returning to the start location at 1:00pm. Led by Dee Snider of Twister Sister, March of Dimes Bikers for Babies supports the March of Dimes mission to give every baby a healthy start. Bikers for Babies begins in Middletown (new start location in 2008-Palmer Field) and winds approximately 40 miles through the scenic Connecticut River Valley and ends with a chicken BBQ by the shore at the Westbrook Elks. Vendor sales, live music, prize drawings and more await the riders. Rider $35 and passenger $25. Registration is from 9-11 a.m. and Bikers for Babies starts at 11:15 a.m. All bikes welcome and it’s rain or shine.

Friday’s in Tarrytown, NY and wind around 65 miles of scenic country roads in Westchester and Rockland counties over the historic Bear Mountain Bridge, ending with a celebration party including free BBQ and live band held at Haverstraw Bay Park.
