The 4th Annual Pa's Ride is a charity motorcycle event in memory of Peter "Pa" Hackley. The purpose of the event is to raise money for the American Lung Association to aid in lung cancer research and education. The ride will take place on Sunday, July 29th, 2007 beginning at the Morgan High School parking lot located off exit 63 off I-95 in Clinton where coffee and donuts will be served. The police-escorted ride will begin promptly at 11 a.m., ending at The Iron Chef in Essex where a free lunch buffet and live entertainment will be provided. D.E.S.K. serves hot evening meals 5 days a week, provides bag lunches for the working poor, and runs a weekly food pantry. All services are free to those in need.
